Privacy and JEX

This is the privacy statement of JEX Technology Group B.V. (operating under the name 'JEX') and its affiliated companies (operating under the names 'JEX', 'FlexForces', 'Zuidgeest' and 'Workfix'). This privacy statement provides information about the personal data we process from job applicants, employees, temporary workers and hired professionals.

Your privacy is our starting point in everything. In this privacy statement, we clearly explain how we collect your data and what we use it for.

We ensure that your data are properly secured and only use them for the purpose for which you have provided them and for which they are strictly necessary. In this case, for our vacancies and career opportunities.

In all cases, we comply with applicable legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch General Data Protection Regulation Implementation Act. 

  1. Personal data when applying for a job

Information on the processing of your personal data when you apply for a job with our company.

Your personal data

We process your name and contact details. We also process the data you provide on your resume or in your motivation letter. You are personally responsible for the accuracy and relevance of the data you provide to us.

Purpose for processing

We process your data to assess whether you are suitable for the open vacancy. If necessary for the position, an assessment may form part of the evaluation. We may also use reference checks (but of course only with your consent) and social media to the extent relevant to the position.

Providing personal data when applying for a job is not mandatory. However, without this data, we may not be able to assess whether you as a candidate are suitable for the vacant position.

With whom do we share your personal data?

We only share your personal data within our organisation with those who assess your application, such as intended managers, employees of the HR department and your interviewers at any job interview.

Do you apply for a job as a temporary employee, or do you respond to an assignment as a hired professional? Then we also share your personal data with interested hirers/clients.

How long do we keep your data?

With your application, you give us permission to keep your personal data for up to one year after the application period ends, so that we can keep you informed of future vacancies. Without consent, your personal data will be stored until four weeks after the application procedure is completed. You can withdraw your consent at any time. 

  1. Personal data of employees, temporary workers and hired professionals

Information on the processing of your personal data when you work for or via us as an employee, temporary worker or hired professional.

Your personal data

When you register, we ask for your address and place of residence, date and place of birth, nationality, type of identity document, document number and period of validity.

While working, we process your hours worked.

If you are an employee or temporary worker, we also process a copy of your ID and other data that are relevant for personnel, salary and absence registration.

If you are a hired professional, we also process your Chamber of Commerce and VAT number, copy of insurance policy and billing and payment data.

In addition, in all cases we process your qualifications, work experience, education, etc.

Purpose for processing

We process your personal data so that you can fulfil your work activities and we can fulfil our obligations as employer/client. We are also obliged to keep personal data due to tax, labour and/or social security legislation.

With whom do we share your personal data?

We may share your personal data with others if necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation or for the execution of an agreement we enter into with or on your behalf. We do not transfer your personal data to (legal) entities outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

How long do we keep your personal data?

Your data will be kept in our system for up to two years after your employment or assignment with or via us has ended or been completed. If you have worked for or via us, we retain the necessary data for the accounting records for up to seven years in connection with our tax obligations.

Information on the processing of personal data when you use our software.

Your personal data

We process the data necessary to create your account, including your login data and IP address. We also monitor how our software is used, including your 'clicking' patterns.

Purpose for processing

We process your personal data to provide you with optimal user support and experience. One of the ways we do this is by using your data to analyse and improve our software.

With whom do we share your personal data?

We provide your personal data within our organisation to those responsible for our software.

How long do we keep your personal data?

Your data will be kept for a maximum of six months after your use of our software has been discontinued. We keep the necessary data for administration purposes for a maximum of seven years in connection with our tax obligations.

Our website uses cookies. We use functional and analytical cookies to give you an optimal user experience of our website. We also collect tracking cookies. These cookies can collect information about you and track your internet behaviour of our website. With this information, advertisements or content can be tailored to your interests and profile. You can give or withdraw your consent to us placing tracking cookies.

  1. Your rights

You have the right to request us to:

  • give you access to your personal data;
  • supplement, correct or delete your personal data;
  • object to the processing of your personal data;
  • stop or restrict the processing of your personal data;
  • transfer your personal data to you or another party.

These rights are not absolute. We will assess your request according to the GDPR. We will inform you as soon as possible, and in any case within one month, of the follow-up we have given to your request. Depending on the complexity of your request, we may extend this period by two months. We will inform you in that case.

You can submit a request via our contact form on the website. We will then contact you to verify your identity. Only after verification will we process your request.

  1. Security

We make all reasonable efforts to optimally secure your personal data against unauthorised use and access. We do this using physical, administrative, organisational and technical measures such as security software, procedures and authorisation / access security.

Sharing with others

We do not share your data with others, unless this is necessary for the performance of services or if we are legally obliged to do so. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for this processing.
